AICTE has launched a scheme for establishing AICTE-IDEA (Idea Development, Evaluation & Application) Lab in its approved institutions for encouraging students for application of Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fundamentals towards enhanced hands-on experience and learning by doing. As a common facility embedded in the institution, IDEA Lab facilitates the students to “engage, explore, experience, express and excel” as desired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister in the wake of release of National Education Policy 2020. These Labs are mandated to function 24x7 in the institutions selected and be available to the colleges, schools, and industries around also.

AICTE- Idea Lab is a creative and innovative space or program designed to foster the generation, development, and realization of new ideas, inventions, or projects. These labs bring together individuals with diverse skills and backgrounds to collaborate on creative projects.

AICTE-IDEA Lab plays a crucial role in fostering innovation and creativity by providing a supportive and collaborative environment for idea generation and development.

Resources: TCE AICTE- Idea Lab provide access to resources such as maker spaces, 3D printers, prototyping tools, laser cutting and engraving machines, CNC wood router, CNC machine, PCB milling machine, IoT and embedded system.
Mentorship: Our Idea Labs offers mentorship to guide individuals in refining their ideas and projects.
Workshops and Training: Idea Labs frequently organize workshops, training sessions, and seminars to help participants develop the skills needed to bring their ideas to life.
Networking: Idea Lab will help facilitate networking among participants, mentors, and external partners, creating opportunities for future collaborations and partnerships.
Innovation Challenges: Idea lab organize innovation challenges and competitions to spark creativity and problem-solving among the participants.
